This independent program allows the flexibility to explore on your own. We offer a selection of hotels to accommodate a variety of tastes and budgets. Affordable optional sightseeing excursions are available to enhance your trip. Keep in mind that this tour is not escorted and therefore you will not have the services of a tour manager to assist with hotel check-in formalities and luggage handling. Hotel locations, services and amenities differ according to the Plan. DAY 1, Thursday – Depart for Fiji

Cross the International Date Line en route to Fiji
DAY 3, Saturday – Arrive in Nadi
Arrive in Nadi, capital of the exotic island of Fiji, known for its pristine beaches, and diverse culture. Transfer to your hotel and spend the rest of the day at leisure
Overnight: Nadi
DAY 4, Sunday – Full Day in Nadi
Spend the day at leisure, or participate in the optional Half Day Garden of the Sleeping Giant & Thermal Mud Pool. Drive through the sugarcane fields of the Sabeto Valley before stopping at Viseisei, a small settlement where the first Fijian settlers landed. Explore the Garden of Sleeping Giant with more than 2,000 varieties of orchids. Lastly, indulge in a therapeutic mud bath in the Sabeto Hot Springs. In the afternoon, perhaps join the optional Sunset Dinner Cruise. Enjoy one of Fiji’s most prestigious charter vessels and one of the largest sailing catamarans in the Southern Hemisphere. Admire stunning views of the Mamanuca Islands, enjoy a barbeque dinner and attend a cultural show accented by the beautiful sunset

DAY 5, Monday – Full Day in Nadi
Spend the day at leisure, or participate in the optional Full Day Tivua Island Cruise. The adventure begins with a day cruise to Tivua Island on a white-sailed tall ship. Tivua is known as the jewel of the Mamanuca Islands. Enjoy the white sandy beaches, take a nature walk or partake in a traditional Kava ceremony

DAY 6, Tuesday – Full Day in Nadi
Today is free to explore Fiji on your own. Perhaps visit Denarau Marina, known as the gateway to Fiji. This 850 acre manmade island boasts a variety of restaurants, bars and shopping areas

DAY 7, Wednesday – Full Day in Nadi
Today is free to explore on your own. Perhaps, join the optional Sunset Cruise with Traditional Lovo Dinner & Show. The tour starts with a cruise down the Tuva River to Robinson Crusoe Island. Learn of Fiji’s traditions, rituals and enjoy a traditional lovo dinner before a captivating cultural dance

Sunset Dinner Cruise
In the evening, board the Fiji One, Fiji’s most prestigious charter vessel and one of the largest sailing catamarans in the Southern Hemisphere. Local chefs will prepare a sumptuous fresh barbeque dinner as you enjoy a complimentary welcome drink and admire the stunning views of the Mamanuca islands. Attend a cultural show while dining, accented by a beautiful sunset.

Full Day Tivua Island Cruise
Head to the Denarau Marina, to board the magnificent white-sailed tall ship, Ra Marama for the day cruise adventure to Tivua Island. Sail towards the Island, circled by white sandy beaches, and boasting 500 acres of vivid coral garden. The tiny island of Tivua is the jewel of the Mamanuca Islands. Experience traditional Fijian culture with an opportunity to take a medicine nature walk, and learn to husk and weave coconut fibres into ropes. Partake in a traditional Kava ceremony and savor a delectable BBQ buffet lunch with unlimited drinks.

Sunset Cruise with Traditional Lovo Dinner & Show
Begin the tour with a peaceful sunset cruise down the Tuva River to Robinson Crusoe Island. After a traditional welcome ceremony, join the locals in the sing-along by the beach bonfire. Learn about Fiji’s cultural traditions and rituals including the unearthing of the lovo earth oven. Savor traditional lovo dinner consisting of roasted vegetables and meat along with local Fijian dishes. Afterward, experience a captivating Pacific Island culture dance show featuring a spectacular fire and knife performance as well as an enthralling acrobatic fire display by the ocean.
