Whether youre looking for an epic adventure, a cultural experience, or some relaxing time in nature, Canada has it all, and no matter the season, you’ll find a wide variety of adventures to jump into for both summer and winter Canadian road trips.

Here’s our guide to the best road trip through Canada this summer.

First, we start off in the east by visiting the city of Quebec. Here, you’ll find a unique mix of French and English culture, along with some of the best food in the country, home of the famous Poutine. There are plenty of sights to explore, including the cobblestone streets of the old city, the stunning Château Frontenac, and the Montmorency Falls.

Next, we head west to Ontario and explore the country’s capital, Ottawa. Here you can explore the Parliament buildings for some stunning architectural views, take a boat ride on the Rideau Canal, and explore the city’s many museums, history exhibits and art galleries.

Continue west to Manitoba and explore its diverse landscape with budding gardens and breathtaking mountains. From the vast prairies to the rugged beauty of the Canadian Shield, there’s something for everyone. Visit the capital city of Winnipeg and take in a game at the MTS Centre. Then, head north and explore the stunning Lake of the Woods and the many provincial parks in the area.

Head west to Alberta and drive the iconic Icefields Parkway. This stunning route takes you through the Rocky Mountains and will be one of the most memorable parts of your road trip. During this leg of the road trip, you have to be sure not to miss the Athabasca Glacier and the Columbia Icefields! These 2 stops alone will have you needing to make space in your camera roll.

After the Rockies, head north to the Yukon. Here you can explore the rugged beauty of Kluane National Park, take a dip in the hot springs near Whitehorse, and search for the breathtaking Northern Lights.

Finally for our last stop of the tip, make your way to British Columbia. This province is home to some of Canada’s most stunning scenery and outdoor activities during both summer and winter. Visit the vibrant cities of Vancouver and Victoria, explore the stunning Kelowna wine region, and go whale watching in the Gulf Islands.
