Recently, I had the opportunity to stay at the Luxury Bahia Principe resort in Runaway Bay, in beautiful Jamaica. From the moment that I arrived, I was greeted with smiles from the staff whose main mission was to make sure that I had a wonderful, relaxing and truly memorable experience. My large room with a king size bed, covered with fluffy pillows, and a balcony overlooking the beautiful ocean was my personal sanctuary. The Pool sides had complete comfort in mind with plenty of chairs, shaded areas, and canopies for those who needed a little respite from the sun. When I was ready for some physical activity, the water-sports club had free rentals of paddle surfs, snorkeling gear, kayaks and so much more.
Relaxing by the beach, taking in the beautiful waves of the clear blue ocean and enjoying the light cooling breeze was my favorite thing to do. So was eating at the resort. The foodie in me was in heaven with five wonderful restaurant options to choose from. The ‘Takara’ Asian Restaurant to the ‘Picasso’ Spanish Gourmet Restaurant, all delivered delicious chef creations. For meat lovers, Rodizio – an open-air restaurant was a delectable choice. The ‘Jazmin’ main buffet provided an endless choices of food options that will please all palates.
Laying in my comfortable beach chair, sipping my cold drink with the ocean in sight felt so incredibly relaxed with only one concern – what am I going to eat and drink next? It sure feels so good to be on vacation!
